A growing pile of mail at a customer’s home recently caught the eye of Buffalo, NY, Letter Carrier Anthony Meindl.
After speaking to his supervisor, he called 911.
Meindl later heard from police officers that the customer was in medical distress.
They credited him with saving the customer’s life.
