City Carrier Assistant Bodi Bowersock was delivering mail recently in Mason City, IL, when a customer ran out of her house in a panic and said that her kitchen was on fire. She asked Bowersock for help and handed him a fire extinguisher. While she called 911, he put out the flames, which had engulfed the room. Firefighters praised him for his efforts and credited him with saving the woman’s house from destruction.
