Jacksonville, FL, Customer Services Supervisor Danovan Wright recently came to the aid of a co-worker who suffered a heart attack.
Wright discovered the woman collapsed between parcel hampers — unconscious and unresponsive — and immediately instructed another employee to call 911.
Finding no sign of a pulse or breathing, Wright performed CPR on the woman until paramedics arrived and took over resuscitation efforts.
The woman was hospitalized, and Wright later heard from her family members that doctors credited his chest compressions with saving her life.
