St. Paul, MN, Letter Carrier David Forstad was delivering mail when he saw a woman lying on the ground. She said she fell and injured herself. Forstad called 911 and stayed with her until emergency responders arrived and took her to a hospital, where she was treated for a broken hip. “If there are medals for people who do the extraordinary for someone in a bad situation, I hope the Post Office will award one [to Forstad],” she said.
