Letter Carrier Ian Wade was recently delivering mail in a Youngstown, OH, neighborhood when a distraught 8-year-old boy approached him.
The child said he’d been at home with his parents when he laid down for a nap, and he’d woken up to find that he and his infant sister were there alone.
Wade calmed the lad and called 911.
Police officers soon arrived to provide further assistance, and the boy’s parents were eventually located.
