Retail Associate Ebony Turonek recently came to the aid of a co-worker at the Clarkston, MI, Post Office who was experiencing a medical emergency.
Carrier Technician Marianna Weissenborn was eating grapefruit when she started choking.
Turonek sprang into action and performed the Heimlich maneuver until the piece of food was dislodged.
“Ebony is my hero 100 percent,” Weissenborn said. “I truly believe I would have died without her help.”
