Customer Services Supervisor Eileen Sullivan and Retail Associate Jennifer Ferreira were on duty recently at the Norwood, MA, Post Office when a customer collapsed in the lobby.
Ferreira rushed to the man’s side to start CPR, while Sullivan called 911 before joining her to assist until emergency responders arrived and took over.
“Jennifer and Eileen both acted without hesitation, going above and beyond in an effort to revive this gentleman,” said Norwood Postmaster Kevin Carter.
The customer did not survive.
