Corpus Christi, TX, Retail Associate Kwamin Huff

Retail Associate Kwamin Huff was recently on duty in Corpus Christi, TX, when he grew concerned about a customer who mailed a Priority Mail Express envelope out of state.

Knowing that the woman had previously fallen victim to scammers, Huff was afraid she was again in jeopardy, so he alerted the Inspection Service.

A postal inspector visited the customer’s home and returned the envelope — which contained a $5,000 check — advising her that it was bound for a suspicious address.

The woman expressed relief and gratitude to have the envelope back, and she later visited the local Post Office to thank Huff for his intervention.
