Grand Rapids, MI, Letter Carrier Jamie Nichols was delivering mail recently when she saw a parked truck that matched the description of a stolen vehicle.
Police believed two teenage girls were in the truck. Nichols took a picture of the vehicle and called 911.
Officers responded to Nichols’ call and arrested two men. The girls were returned safely to their parents.
“Jamie was a hero in making it her business to follow up with her suspicions of the stolen truck,” said Northwest Station Manager Annette McMillan.
