Letter Carrier Jeffery Bucks was delivering mail recently in a Redding, CA, neighborhood when he noticed that a customer’s car was on fire.
Bucks located a garden hose and extinguished the blaze before it consumed the vehicle or spread to the residence.
The customer soon emerged from his home.
He thanked Bucks for responding quickly to the emergency.
