Hughson CA, Rural Carrier Nancy Lowe-Proctor was delivering mail when she was approached by a woman frantically searching for her 6-year-old daughter, who went missing while playing outside. The mother had called police. Lowe-Proctor said she would keep an eye out for the child and continued on her route. She later found the girl, who had wandered a mile away from home, and called authorities. The child was reunited with her mother.
