Olden touch

Letter Carrier Kori Olden was delivering mail to an elderly customer in Warrensburg, NY, when he heard sounds of distress coming from inside the home.

He entered the residence and found the woman, who had fallen earlier that morning and fractured her hip.

Olden called 911 and the customer’s daughter. He waited with her until responders arrived.

The customer was treated at a hospital and released to live with her daughter. She died a few weeks later.
