Moments after Sioux City, IA, Letter Carrier Robert Meyer delivered mail to a residence, he heard the customer calling for help. She had slipped on a patch of ice and injured her head. Meyer called 911 and stayed with her until help arrived. She was taken to a hospital where she recovered. The woman’s family later called the Post Office to thank Meyer.
