Letter Carrier Kristin Davis was recently making deliveries in Opp, AL, when she grew worried about a customer whose mail was piling up.
Knowing that the woman normally retrieved her mail daily, Davis knocked on the front door but got not answer.
The Postal Service employee contacted local police, who soon checked on the customer and found her stranded in her bathroom, where she’d fallen several days earlier.
Paramedics were dispatched to take the woman to a hospital.
A neighbor later contacted the local Postmaster to thank Davis for her life-saving intervention.
