Henrietta, NY, Rural Carrier Shaun McFadden was delivering mail when he noticed smoke pouring out of a house. He alerted the residents, who fled to safety. McFadden called 911, then turned a garden hose on the flames. After firefighters arrived, McFadden continued on his route.
