Carrier Technician Stephen Schaal was recently delivering mail to a home in Akron, OH, when he heard a faint cry for help.
Schaal soon spotted a customer sprawled out on the living room floor and rushed to her side.
The woman said she’d been stranded for several days. Schaal immediately called 911 and stayed with her until emergency responders arrived.
The customer, who had suffered a stroke, was expected to recover.
