A moment of crisis interrupted an employee recognition luncheon recently hosted by Corpus Christi, TX, Postmaster Aaron Lawson. When an attendee began choking, Customer Service Support Supervisor Timothy Birrenkott rushed to the man’s side and performed the Heimlich maneuver until the food was dislodged. Lawson later praised Birrenkott for his “quick thinking and action.”
