Sioux Falls, SD, Letter Carrier Tommy Heuer could have looked the other way when a man limped toward him recently on the street, blood visible on his face and arm.
But Heuer stopped to see what he could do to help.
He learned that the man had been stabbed, and that an ambulance was on the way.
Heuer stayed with the victim until emergency responders arrived.
The stabbing was drug-related, radio station KELO reported.
