Rural Carrier Jennifer Johnson was delivering mail one day last year in Phillips, WI, when she spotted a customer on the ground outside a residence.
Johnson rushed to check on the woman, who had fallen several hours earlier and broken her leg.
The Postal Service employee immediately called 911 and comforted the customer until emergency responders arrived.
The woman recovered from the incident.
