Letter Carrier William Barber II was recently delivering mail in a Colorado Springs, CO, neighborhood when he saw a 93-year-old customer fall while walking her dog.
Barber rushed to the woman’s side, called 911 and comforted her until paramedics arrived.
Several of the customer’s family members later thanked Barber for his prompt assistance.
The woman was hospitalized for treatment of her injuries.
