Here’s a look at Postal Service employees who received appointments or recognition recently:

• Melissa L. Pfluke, delivery operations support manager, was named the Columbus, OH, Post Office’s officer in charge.

• Samie U. Rehman, mailing and services pricing director, was named acting pricing and costing strategy support director. Fiona E. Machado, revenue and volume reporting director, was named acting mailing and services pricing director.

• Houston Postmaster Julia G. Wilbert was named Louisiana District’s acting manager. Amber B. Pember, Texas 3 District’s Post Office operations manager, was named Houston’s acting postmaster.
