The Lockhart, TX, Post Office has become a social media star thanks to happy customers posting comments about its friendly service.
“We have the best Post Office with the most fabulous employees ever,” one customer raved on Lockhart’s Facebook community page.
During the holidays, another customer posted, “I had the best experience at our post office this morning. Here it is a week before Christmas and everyone is smiling and so helpful.”
Several customers praised Retail Associate Joy Ross.
“She’s always, always got that pretty smile no matter what,” one customer wrote.
“Joy Ross is hands down the most pleasant and friendly counter person maybe in the whole state,” wrote another.
Ross, a Lockhart native, has worked at the Post Office for two years, starting as a postal support employee before becoming a career part-time flexible retail associate.
“I love to see my regular customers each day,” said Ross. “It’s a great job and I really enjoy this opportunity to serve my community.”
Said Postmaster Eddie Esparza: “It’s really great to have someone working at our retail window that is so well liked by the community — and it’s great for business.”
