Western Area and Salt Lake City District lead the scanning performance ratings as of Feb. 25:
- Areas. Western (96.67 percent) grabbed first place, followed by Capital Metro (96.29 percent) and Great Lakes (96.15 percent).
- Districts. Salt Lake City (97.5 percent) held onto first place, followed by Arkansas (97.17 percent) and Portland (97.16 percent).
National scanning performance for the week ending Feb. 20 was 95.88 percent, down slightly from the previous week.
Scanning allows customers to track their packages and other mail. It also helps the Postal Service boost efficiency and strengthen network management.
