The USPS Library will host a webinar Tuesday, July 14, from 2-3 p.m. EDT on LexisNexis, an online research service available on the library’s Subscription Databases page.
The webinar, which is open to all employees, will introduce participants to more than 26,000 news sources on LexisNexis. Topics will include:
- Searching regional, national and international news sources.
- Navigating through print, broadcast and online news sources, including publications and blogs.
- Constructing power searches using Boolean logic.
The session also will cover narrowing search results, creating alerts to keep up with media coverage and an introduction to the LexisNexis Newsstand, which offers instant access to selected publications and simple news searches.
