Western Area, Portland District continue to lead

Scanning
Scanning allows customers to track their packages through the postal network.

Scanning scores remained competitive during the week ending Oct. 2.

Western, with a rating of 97.43 percent, strengthened its hold on first place in the area standings. Capital Metro (96.86 percent) and Great Lakes (96.76 percent) ended the week in second and third place, respectively.

Portland (97.95 percent) led the districts once again, while Hawkeye (97.84 percent) rose three places to finish second and Northland (97.75 percent) climbed one spot to take third. All three districts are in Western Area.

The national rating was 96.52 percent, up slightly from one week earlier.

Scanning allows customers to track their packages and other mail. It also helps the Postal Service improve efficiency and network management.

Scores and standings change continually. To see the latest results, go to the Enterprise Analytics site and use the Dashboards menu bar to select DES 2.
