National rating rises again

Scanning
Scanning allows customers to track their packages.

The national scanning score for the week ending Oct. 23 was 96.84 percent, up from one week earlier.

The top three areas remain unchanged from the previous week: Western (97.36 percent) ranks first, followed by Capital Metro (97.07 percent) and Great Lakes (96.88 percent).

Once again, Western’s Portland District (97.87 percent) finished first among its counterparts. Western New York District (97.77 percent), located in Eastern Area, surged 58 spots to finish second, while Great Lakes’ Greater Indiana District (97.72 percent) climbed 15 spots to take third.

Scanning allows customers to track their packages and other mail. It also helps the Postal Service improve efficiency and network management.

Scores and standings change continually. To see the latest results, go to the Enterprise Analytics site and use the Dashboards menu bar to select DES 2.
