Scanning scorecard

New area and district scanning leaders emerge

Scanning allows customers to track their packages.

Some players changed in the top area and district scanning standings during the week ending Nov. 13.

Western continued to lead the areas with a rating of 97.38 percent, while Eastern (96.65 percent) held onto second place. Great Lakes (96.64 percent) was third, up four spots from the previous week.

The districts were led by Western New York (97.76 percent), followed by Arkansas (97.73 percent) and Northland (97.71 percent), which climbed three spots.

The national scanning score was 96.73 percent, down from one week earlier.

Scanning allows customers to track their packages and other mail. It also helps the Postal Service improve efficiency and network management.
