Time’s running out to update your health coverage

Employees can update their benefits online through Monday, Dec. 14.

Open season, your once-a-year opportunity to change your health benefits or enroll in a new plan, ends Monday, Dec. 14.

Options include Self Plus One, which offers coverage for you and one eligible family member that you designate, such as a spouse or son or daughter age 25 and younger.

Available plans include the Federal Employees Health Benefits Program (FEHB), USPS Health Benefits Plan for non-career employees, Federal Employees Dental and Vision Insurance Program (FEDVIP) and flexible spending accounts (FSAs).

The LiteBlue open season site has information to help you explore your choices.

The site also offers informational videos on Self Plus One, choosing a health plan and other topics.

Additionally, employees can learn more by participating in a series of webinars. The schedule is posted on the LiteBlue Benefits and Wellness page.
