Sycamore, OH, Postmaster Earl Musick is offering more memories of his friendship with Charles Schulz, the late “Peanuts” creator.

“I remember watching the Charlie Brown special … with my family,” Musick tells the host in “Your Postal Podcast’s” latest edition. “I thought, it would be so cool to be a cartoonist like that.”

Musick later befriended Schulz and his wife Jean, who recently dedicated the stamps honoring the 50th anniversary of “A Charlie Brown Christmas.”

“It’s just awesome because I knew how much he wanted [Charlie Brown stamps],” Musick says. “I wish he could’ve seen it.”

The podcast also offers an interview with Consumer Advocate John Budzynski, who discusses the holiday shipping season, including the Postal Service’s new how-to videos for customers.
