Efforts to promote the Postal Service’s presence at the Consumer Electronics Show were honored this week.

Two Corporate Communications employees were honored this week for helping the Postal Service promote its social responsibility and sustainability efforts.

Sr. Public Relations Representative Darleen Reid and Western Area Communications Programs Specialist David Rupert each received awards for their work on behalf of the recent Consumer Electronics Show, where the Postal Service exhibit received widespread praise.

Additionally, Eastern Area Corporate Communications Manager Paul Smith and his team — Ray Daiutolo Sr., Tad Kelley, Sara Martin, Karen Mazurkiewicz, David Vanallen and David Walton — were finalists in a nonprofit category and received honorable mention for their work on the Little Blue Book, a handbook for Eastern Area employees.

The awards were organized by PR News, an industry publication. Winners were announced March 15 at a ceremony in Washington, DC.
