The Employee Assistance Program offers counseling online for employees and their families.

The Postal Service’s Employee Assistance Program (EAP) now offers counseling online for employees and their families.

Counseling is available in five modules:

  • Mild to moderate depression
  • Alcohol and substance abuse
  • Anxiety, phobias and panic attacks
  • Obsessive-compulsive disorder
  • Insomnia and sleep problems

Each option is accessible anytime for your convenience and privacy. The programs are short, interactive and self-paced. Employees who use this service must do so on their own time.

You can access the programs on EAP’s site, EAP4you.com. Select the benefits tab on the homepage, then select “Web-Based Care” and you’ll be taken to the login section, where you can begin the module of your choice.

To learn more, call EAP at 800-327-4968 (TTY: 877-492-7341).
