Video has tips on creating strong passwords

The CyberSafe at USPS site has an instructional video and tips on creating, resetting and recovering passwords.

Employees are reminded to create strong ACE passwords to help protect Postal Service information.

The CyberSafe at USPS team has released an instructional video with tips on creating passwords and resetting them when required.

The team’s Blue site also has instructions on resetting and recovering passwords.

Most ACE computer users are prompted to change their passwords every 90 days. Users should avoid USPS-specific or personal information when creating passwords, and they should never disclose their passwords to other people.

If you suspect your password has been compromised, change it immediately by pressing the Ctrl, Alt and Delete keys simultaneously and selecting “Change a password.”

You also should notify the CyberSecurity Operations Center at CyberSafe@usps.gov or 866-877-7247.

The CyberSafe at USPS Blue site has more information.
