The Postal Service’s national scanning rating was 97.44 percent during the week ending June 10, down from the previous week.
Thirty-nine districts and five areas met or exceeded the national average. Dakotas (98.44 percent) led the districts, while Western (97.81 percent) topped the areas.
Scanning allows customers to track their packages and other mail. It also helps the Postal Service improve efficiency and network management.
