The Postal Service is providing general operating policy and planning guidance for the Christmas Day and New Year’s Day holidays.
A new memo explains guidelines for delivery, retail, processing and logistics operations.
For example, the memo notes normal delivery services will be provided Saturday, Dec. 24. All delivery units should take action prior to this date to assure that units are clear of parcels committed for delivery on Christmas Eve.
