Scanning rates, Postal Pulse dates

Scanning
Western was the area leader in scanning during the week ending June 9, while Dakotas finished first among the districts.

Scanning snapshot. The Postal Service’s national scanning rating was 97.77 percent during the week ending June 9, down from one week earlier.

Dakotas (99.16 percent) topped the districts, while Western (98.17 percent) led the areas.

Scanning allows customers to track their packages and mail. It also helps USPS improve efficiency and network management.

To see the latest results, go to the Enterprise Analytics site and select “Scanning” on the left hand side, and then “DES 2 — Scan Performance” from the drop-down options.

Pulse check. USPS will conduct its next Postal Pulse employee survey from mid-August to mid-September.

The survey measures engagement, which refers to employees’ involvement, enthusiasm and commitment to their organization.

USPS has made engagement a top priority, part of the organization’s overall focus on workforce development.

Additional details about the survey will be announced soon.
