Representatives from USPS and La Poste, the French postal service, recently met in Las Vegas.

The La Poste employees toured Garside Station and discussed postal operations with their U.S. counterparts.

“It’s always exciting to watch the interaction between our clerks and carriers and theirs,” said Station Manager Brad Baird. “One of my favorite parts is when we all sit around a table and get the opportunity to share stories and the different programs we offer our customers.”

La Poste, a public-owned company, provides customers with mail, parcel and express delivery services, along with retail banking, insurance and digital communications.

The visit was a reunion of sorts: Garside Station also welcomed a La Poste team during a similar exercise last year.

Laurence Roux, a La Poste communications manager, told the USPS employees it was “very interesting to see how you do business.”
