Looking for a fast way to access Postal Facts when you’re on-the-go?

You can “pin” the informational site to your mobile device’s home screen, creating an app-like icon that will take you directly to Postal Facts.

Here’s how to do it:

• Apple. If you have an iPhone or an iPad, launch the Safari browser and go to facts.usps.com.

Tap the share icon, which looks like an up arrow coming out of a square. This icon appears at the bottom of iPhone screens and the top of iPad screens.

Next, tap the “Add to Home Screen” icon. You’ll be prompted to name the shortcut (the default is “Postal Facts”), and then you can click “Add.”

A Postal Facts icon will now appear on your home screen. When you click the icon, the site will open in Safari.

• Android. If you have an Android device, launch the Chrome for Android browser and go to facts.usps.com.

Tap the menu button and select “Add to homescreen.” You’ll be able to enter a name for the shortcut, and then it will be added to your home screen.

USPS recently updated Postal Facts with a more visually appealing format, a mobile-friendly design and buttons that allow you to share individual facts on social media.
