Mover’s Guide, Postal Bulletin updates

USPS Mover's Guide cover
After this month, employees should distribute the USPS Mover’s Guide dated July 1-Sept. 30.

Keep it moving. The Postal Service is reminding retail associates and other employees to distribute the latest edition of the USPS Mover’s Guide.

The current guide shows dates of April 1-June 30 in the lower left-hand corner. This is the version employees should distribute through the end of this month.

After June 30, employees should begin distributing the next version of the guide, which will be dated July 1-Sept. 30.

The guide includes the USPS official change-of-address kit and coupons for discounts on move-related products and services.

Holding out for heroes. The Postal Bulletin’s June 21 edition reports on the Postmaster General Heroes’ Program, which honors employees who perform heroic acts.

The article spotlights Noreen Mintken, an Omaha, NE, letter carrier who helped two children escape gunfire last year. Instructions on nominating employees for the program are also included.
