HERO, which is formally known as the Integrated Human Resources System, will be a single platform that makes it easier for employees to manage career development activities online.

The Postal Service has introduced a system to improve the way you receive training, enter performance goals, apply for job openings and perform other career development activities.

HERO, formerly known as the Integrated Human Resources System, will be a single platform that replaces several “legacy” platforms, including the Learning Management System, eCareer, eIDP, the Performance Evaluation System, Corporate Succession Planning, EAS Leadership Development and the Executive Pay System.

“HERO puts the power to manage your career right where it belongs — in your hands,” said Employee Resource Management Vice President Simon Storey.

HERO will help the Postal Service engage, equip and empower its employees, a core business strategy. The platform also aligns with the organization’s efforts to innovate.

If you have an ACE ID and password, USPS wants you to log into the HERO site and complete your profile. The organization will provide additional information on HERO in the coming weeks.
