Angela Lawson, advanced analytics director in Enterprise Analytics, will represent the Postal Service in the Massachusetts Institute of Technology’s Sloan Fellows MBA Program, beginning June 3.
The 12-month program aims to prepare executives with the skills needed to innovate and lead effective organizations. Upon completion of the program, Lawson will receive a master’s degree in business administration.
Lawson joined USPS in 2009 and has served in several managerial roles.
“Angela Lawson has distinguished herself throughout her career as a technology leader bringing impactful solutions across the Postal Service,” said Acting Chief Human Resources Officer Isaac Cronkhite.
Since being named the organization’s first advanced analytics director in 2016, Lawson has set the Postal Service’s strategic vision to recognize and fully harness the power of the advanced data sciences, including data exploration, machine learning and artificial intelligence.
