Carilla Hayden, a Chicago letter carrier, joined a special guest star in last year’s USPS holiday advertising campaign.

The Postal Service is giving employees more time to audition for this year’s holiday advertising campaign.

The deadline to submit audition videos for the campaign, originally set for this week, has been extended to Friday, Aug. 23, at 5 p.m. EDT.

The USPS Holiday 2019 Employee Casting site has instructions on creating and submitting audition videos.

Employees who are chosen to participate could be featured in a variety of different types of USPS holiday ads.

The audition is open to all employees. No prior acting experience is required.

All applicants must receive approval from their managers before selection and production begins.
