Luke Grossmann has been named finance and strategy senior vice president, a new role in the Finance organization.

The new organization will include the current Finance and Planning team, a newly created Advanced Strategic Research group, and the Strategic Planning team. He will continue to report to Chief Financial Officer Joseph Corbett and also serve as a member of the executive leadership team.

Postmaster General Megan J. Brennan praised Grossmann as a “consistently indispensable contributor” to the organization in an Aug. 22 memo announcing his appointment.

“He has played a vital role in guiding the organization’s approach to financial analysis and decision-making, driven improvements in business performance and has played an active role in supporting the executive leadership team,” she wrote.

Grossmann previously served as finance and planning vice president. Other assignments have included operations research, insight and continuous improvement director; package platform manager; network development and support manager; and Albany District manager.
