Conference to showcase HQ, field jobs

USPS will host a conference for employees interested in headquarters-related and other careers from Sept. 27-28 in Potomac, MD.

The Postal Service will host a career conference this month to allow employees to learn about job opportunities at USPS headquarters and in the field.

The conference will be held from Friday, Sept. 27-Saturday, Sept. 28, at the William F. Bolger Center in Potomac, MD.

The two-day conference is open to all employees and will include networking events with senior leaders at Postal Service headquarters in Washington, DC.

The conference also will feature workshops, presentations and an optional “lunch with leadership” session.

Employees can register online and reserve hotel rooms. The cost to attend the conference is $35, while lodging costs $51 per night. Employees are responsible for their own registration, lodging and travel costs.

Conferences like these are part of the Postal Service’s broader efforts to engage, equip and empower workers, a core strategy. A similar conference was held last month in Norman, OK.
