New look

Postal Bulletin highlighted, too

The Postal Inspection Service’s website has a new, cleaner look.

Closer inspection. The Postal Inspection Service has redesigned its website to make it easier for consumers to find crime prevention tips and to learn about the agency.

The site offers information on avoiding common types of crime — including mail and identify theft, lottery scams and phishing — as well as guidelines on reporting suspicious activity.

The redesigned site also offers a behind-the-scenes look into the types of cases the Inspection Service investigates, the state-of-the-art tools used to solve crimes, and how to join the law enforcement organization.

The site is located at www.uspis.gov.

Postal Bulletin. The Postal Bulletin’s Nov. 7 issue offers a preview of this year’s open season benefits enrollment period, which runs from Nov. 11-Dec. 9.

The latest updates to policies, procedures and forms are also included.
