Pride and Blue

Employees’ team contributions showcased

Accomac, VA, Retail Associate Adam Chrisman is one of the USPS employees showcased through the latest Inside Blue campaign.

The Postal Service is highlighting employees who feel pride at work.

Inside Blue, a communications initiative that launched last year, features images and quotes from employees discussing their workplace and colleagues.

“I’m very proud of our team as we always are in the top five in the country for performance of First-Class Mail and Priority Mail,” Richard Powell, a Warrendale, PA, mail handler, says in one post.

In another post, Accomac, VA, Retail Associate Adam Chrisman says, “We share and support each other as a family, and that is what keeps us providing the best service for our customers.”

The employee spotlights are delivered each weekday through multiple communications channels, including monitors inside USPS facilities and the Lead to Win newsletter.

The messages are also posted on the Inside Blue LiteBlue page.

Inside Blue, the second of four #Postal Proud initiatives slated for this fiscal year, is part of the organization’s broader efforts to empower and engage employees and deliver world-class customer experiences, two core strategies.

The Peek into Peak initiative, which USPS conducted during this year’s first quarter, highlighted employees’ efforts during the holidays.
