The dedication ceremony for the Arnold Palmer stamp is featured in a new video from the Postal Service.
The event was held March 4 during the Arnold Palmer Invitational in Orlando, FL, and featured Roman Martinez IV, a member of the USPS Board of Governors who discussed the famed golfer’s storied career.
“From humble beginnings in Latrobe, Pennsylvania, the hometown that he loved, he learned the game of golf from his father, and he rose to become one of the most beloved and popular athletes in the world,” Martinez says in the video.
The Forever stamp, which features a photo of Palmer in action at the 1964 U.S. Open, is available at Post Offices and usps.com.
