USPS temporarily increased commercial domestic parcel product prices this week.

Price changes. Temporary price increases for USPS commercial domestic parcel products took effect Oct. 18.

The Postal Regulatory Commission (PRC) approved the changes last month.

The increases — which affect Priority Mail Express, Priority Mail, First-Class Package Service and Commercial Parcel Select — will continue until Dec. 27 at 12 a.m. Central time. After that, prices will revert to 2020 prices.

The Postal Explorer website has more information.

Earlier this month, USPS announced changes that would affect Mailing Services and International Shipping Services prices. If reviewed favorably by the PRC, these changes would take effect Jan. 24, 2021.

Service update. The usps.com Service Alerts section has the latest updates on Hurricane Delta, which struck the Gulf Coast last week, and the West Coast wildfires.
