Ergonomics webinar slated for July 20

The July 20 webinar will address proper workstation positioning to reduce eye strain, neck strain and aching fingers and wrists.

Postal Service employees can participate in an upcoming webinar to learn about the anatomy of the hand and arm, including information about carpal tunnel syndrome and its causes, prevention and treatment.

The session, “Ergonomics for a Healthier You,” will be held Tuesday, July 20, at noon EDT.

Representatives from Blue Cross Blue Shield and the Virginia Hospital Center will conduct the webinar and provide instruction on proper workstation positioning to reduce eye strain, neck strain and aching fingers and wrists.

Employees interested in participating should register before the session on the webinar website. After signing up, directions on accessing the webinar will be emailed to each registrant.

Participation is voluntary. Nonexempt employees may only participate off the clock or during authorized breaks.
