New acting VP

Hoyt to lead Technology Applications

Acting Technology Applications Vice President Garrett M. Hoyt

Garrett M. Hoyt has been named acting Technology Applications vice president.

He will assume the post previously held by Marc D. McCrery, who is now the Customer Experience vice president.

“Garrett has led technical transformations throughout his career, leaving him well positioned for this new role,” Chief Information Officer Pritha N. Mehra wrote in a memo announcing the appointment.

Hoyt most recently served as Chief Information Officer Services executive director, managing a team that negotiated strategic, cost-saving technology contracts.

Prior to that, he directed the development and launch of initiatives that automated manual processes, such as seamless acceptance and eInduction.

As the Rural Delivery acting manager, he oversaw the development, training and launch of a route-mapping pilot in roughly 70 districts within a two-month time frame.

John S. Pomeroy, Performance Achievement director, will serve as acting Chief Information Officer Services executive director.
