Business Connect kits on the way

The Business Connect kits include reference material and a brochure that can be left with customers.

Postmasters and customer services managers will soon receive a Business Connect kit that offers strategies for promoting USPS direct mail and Every Door Direct Mail services to small businesses.

The kits, which will be mailed around Feb. 4, contain a Business Connect guide, reference material and information that can be left with customers.

“These tools can help postmasters and customer services managers to have quality conversations with potential customers about direct mail and Every Door Direct Mail,” said Dorothy Muir, a small-business sales specialist at USPS headquarters in Washington, DC.

The information that can be left with customers will be available on the Sales Support Materials Ordering System for employees who want to order additional copies.

Business Connect began in 2005 as a way for postmasters, managers and supervisors to have discussions with customers about USPS products and services.
